We had Halloween on a Monday this year so we had the Halloween Parade on Halloween! The categories for the pumpkin carving and decorating were: most creative, most ghoulish, most traditional, silliest, and most colorful. Uncle Robert, created by Hailey, won the most creative, and that was a pumpkin that had bars carved into it and inside there was a little pumpkin that was in jail. Meta Jack, Riley's pumpkin, won the most ghoulish, which is a jack o'lantern with another jack o'lantern carved inside his eye.  The most traditional was Da Big Cheese, Hannah's pumpkin, it had jack o'lantern look. The most colorful was Rose, by Roslyn, which was a Mummy with red eyes. The silliest was Harry Corn by Sammy. Harry Corn had a horn, pipe cleaner for hair , white eyes, and a red nose.

In the costume categories there were: most original, silliest, scariest, and overall.
The silliest award went to Parasol Lady. "She" was Ulysses who was dressed up as a girl. The scariest costume was AJ's. He was a zombie skeleton. The most original was a space unicorn by Hannah! She had a cardboard box for a helmet, her unicorn horn stuck out of it, and a green and white tail. She wore a purple space suit. The overall for the preschool category was Hadley.
