Editor of the Week

Hi, my name is Riley.  I am in 5th grade. I will be the editor of the week.

 An interesting topic we are learning about this week is Mayan structures. We are going to build Mayan temples this week.

Ola Reunion

       Please come to the Ola Reunion on Sunday the 11th.  Church services are at 10:30 A.M.  There will be country gospel music. The people playing music are Paul Loree, Gloria Sutton, Bob Lucas and Judie McCaulou. Church services will begin at 11:00.  At 12:00 there will be a picture taken on the front step. Potluck Dinner will follow at the Ola Community Hall.  

Hi! I'm Abby Foruria and I'm in 5th grade. I will be the editor this week.This week at school the 5th and 6th graders are learning about ancient civilization in Social Studies. The tribes that we are learning about are the Olmecs, Teohihuacanans, and the Mayans. My favorite tribe is the Olmec. They disappeared and all their cities were destroyed but there was no sign of a battle or invasion. They also carved huge heads out of rock.The heads were the only thing that was not destroyed because they were about ten feet tall.
